BullBearLabs ("We", "Company" or "BullBearLabs") respects the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, shared, and protected when you use the BullBearLabs mobile application ("App"). By downloading or using our App, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data for the operation, security, and improvement of our App:

a) Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

Only if you log in (Google Sign-In); your email address, name, profile picture, and assigned User ID. If you use the app without logging in, this data is not collected.

b) Financial and Portfolio Data

The portfolio data you add is securely stored either on your device (local database) or encrypted on our secure servers if synced to your account. Only authorized systems can access this data.

c) Device and Usage Data

IP address, device model, OS version, crash logs (Crashlytics), and in-app interaction duration are collected in anonymized form.

d) In-App Interaction (Heatmaps)

Microsoft Clarity is used to understand how you use the app interface and to improve user experience. Passwords, portfolio balances, and financial numbers are not recorded by Clarity; they are intentionally masked (censored).

e) Advertising and Tracking IDs

Device Advertising ID is collected to serve personalized ads (Google AdMob).

2. Purposes of Data Use

The collected data is used for the following purposes:

  • To create a user account and provide authorization.
  • To provide AI-powered market analysis and personalized notifications (OneSignal).
  • To detect and fix in-app errors/bugs (Firebase Crashlytics).
  • To make UI/UX improvements (Microsoft Clarity).
  • To show personalized advertisements for free users (Google AdMob).
  • To manage subscriptions and purchases made via Google Play Billing.
  • To monitor and improve the technical performance of the application (Firebase Analytics).

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Performance of contract: Data processing necessary for delivering App services.
  • Legitimate interest: Improving service quality, security measures, and error detection.
  • Explicit consent: User consent for personalized advertising and analytics services.
  • Legal obligation: Mandatory data retention and sharing under applicable law.

4. Data Sharing with Third Parties

BullBearLabs never sells user data to third parties. However, to provide our services, your data may be processed with the following trusted service providers:

  • Google LLC (Firebase, AdMob, Google Cloud): Analytics, crash logs, cloud infrastructure, and advertising services. Google Play billing data is processed by Google, and BullBearLabs does not store this data.
  • Microsoft Corporation (Clarity): Screen interaction analysis. Only masked data without financial PII is used.
  • OneSignal: Push notification delivery.
  • Official authorities in response to a court order or legal requests, if legally required.

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Sensitive data is securely stored on the server side. Only authorized systems can access financial data. While we implement industry-standard security measures, 100% secure data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed.

6. Data Retention and Deletion Rights

Your personal data is stored as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill our legal obligations.

Users can completely delete their accounts and all associated data (portfolio, email, analysis history) from our servers at any time via the In-App Settings → Delete My Account button. Deletion is irreversible.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 (children) as it contains tools related to financial markets. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us.

8. User Rights (KVKK & GDPR)

Your rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and applicable international regulations are preserved. These rights include:

  • The right to know whether your personal data is being processed.
  • The right to request information regarding processing activities.
  • The right to request correction, deletion, or portability of your data.
  • The right to restrict or object to processing.
  • The right to object to automated decision-making processes.

9. Cookies and Analytics

The application may use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to improve user experience. This data is used for anonymized statistical purposes. Our website may use cookies; details can be managed through your browser settings.

BullBearLabs reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Important changes will be announced via in-app notifications and published on this page.
